Submission
Verses on submission — the countercultural act of yielding to God and to one another as an expression of trust and love.
Submit to one another out of reverence for Christ. These verses on submission challenge the self-assertion that culture celebrates and call you to a different kind of strength — the strength that yields. Submit therefore to God; resist the devil and he will flee. Humble yourself under the mighty hand of God, and He will exalt you at the proper time. Submission is not weakness — it is the posture of a person who understands authority, trusts God, and has the security to put others first.
